Action description

Put the back of your hands together, with one palm facing towards your body, and the other outwards. Pull the outer hand further away to signify the state of being outside of something.

Example sentence

  • He is my good friend who I mentioned before. I told you that we are close and I can say that we can't be any closer. Others are just friends. People said we are like brothers.
  • I can’t speak, let alone talking on the phone. So I clap my hands instead, and they get it. If it were other people, they’d be weirded out by the claps when they pick up the phone. That is why I only call them two. Only they know clapping means I’m inviting them over. This is only works for the three of us. It’s our secret signal.
  • Generations of our family have lived in Baihe. We didn't move here from another place.
